Dear heavenly Father, I thank You for training my spirit to apprehend the realities of the Kingdom and respond to the instructions of the Holy Spirit to me, as I learn and walk in the light of Your Word, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

How To Pray Effectively
Prayer is primarily our communication with the Lord. Communication has purpose and the purpose usually determines the mode and relevant details for the communication to be effective. Praying is such an important part of our lives as Christians. First of all, we must recognize prayer as a privilege as well as an honour. Every moment of prayer is an investment in eternity and true prayer is a romance of righteousness.
Our fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ
Through prayer we participate in the communion of the God-kind; it’s a throne room caucus rendezvous. When we pray, we make tremendous power available, dynamic in its working, causing changes in our favour.
The Prayer of Faith
In our prayer life, the principle of faith holds sway in a significant context. The prayer of faith is one among the different kinds of prayer, and it has its peculiar rules and requirements. This prayer involves making a request to God and speaking to circumstances in order to make them conform to our desires, without doubts in our hearts. In Mark 11:22, Jesus counselled His disciples to “…HAVE FAITH IN GOD.” But it’s interesting to know that the literal translation of His statement actually reads. “HAVE THE FAITH OF GOD”.
CAN CHANGE your LIFE? – “WOMEN”
One Night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the President’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private.
They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle,
“Why was he so interested in talking to you.?” , President Obama curiously asked his wife.
She informed the Husband that in her teenage years, the man had been madly in love with her.
President Obama then said,
“So if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant?”
Michelle responded, “No. If I had married him, he would now be the President.”

Make His Power In You Operative
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV).
The word “works” in our opening verse means “operative.” God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His power that’s operative in us. God’s power to produce the miraculous; His power to effect the change you desire, has to work from within you; not from heaven. That power is in you!
1 John 4:4 says, “…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Paul said to Timothy, “…stir up the gift of God which is in thee…” (2 Timothy 1:6), referring to the power of the Spirit, which can be dormant in you unless activated. Also, in Ephesians 6:10 he said, “…be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” This means that you should take advantage of His power, might, and grace in your life; make them operative. Make the grace of God that brings acceptability, advantage, favour, joy, liberality, ability, pleasure and beauty operational in your life.
The Apostle Paul, writing to the Corinthian Christians, admonished them not to receive the grace of God in vain (2 Corinthians 6:1). Some people have received the grace of God in vain. God’s grace is not working for them, because they’re not working the Word of God. You have to work the Word for the grace of God to function in your life. You have to meditate: imagine, mutter, talk and roar the Word. Philippians 2:12 says, “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
Salvation is translated from the Greek word “soteria,” which is akin to another Greek word “sozo,” which means to save, deliver, protect, heal, preserve, make well or whole. It encompasses all that God has done and obtained for you in Christ Jesus. Therefore, keep proclaiming that all the blessings of salvation, consummated by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, are your present-hour possessions and vital realities of your daily existence.

THERAPEUTIC PARENTING Pt1
Parents do face lots in their daily practice of parenting. In this practice, the parent is supposed to maintain the position of a therapist regardless of the challenges. Notice I have said “supposed to maintain.” The reason being that sometimes the parent will be the client. It’s not supposed to be like that.
The child must be taken as a client at all cost. Clients are always Kings though they depend on their servants. Servants knows what is happening outside and inside the palace. The King depends on the servant’s knowledge. His safety is in the hands of the servant. His health is in the hands of the servant. His night hour confidence and breaking of the day is in the hands of the servant.
A servant is not just Amen ordinary person. Life, health, success, prosperity and excellence in the life of the child is in the skills of the parent.
Like clients, children can be injured emotionally or spiritually. It’s the parents duty to give healing therapy of love. It takes confidence , courage, mixed with faith in God’s word, prayer and love to start your practice as a parent.
Lamentations 2:19 (GW)
19 Get up! Cry out at night, every hour on the hour.
Pour your heart out like water in the presence of the Lord.
Lift up your hands to him in prayer for the life of your little children who faint from hunger at every street corner.”
GIVE LOVE AND PROVIDE THEIR NEEDS as well as PRAYING FOR THEM DAILY.
